Her depth and breadth of experience come as a result of her extensive work in a variety of industries and cultures. They include pharmaceuticals, telecommunications, technology, oil services, manufacturing, utilities, insurance and Federal and State Governments. Kate’s work has taken her all over the U.S. as well as to Australia, New Zealand, South America, the Netherlands, Great Britain, Canada, Micronesia and the Philippines.
Kate’s early career led her to business as the General Manager of Hamilton Systems, a large New York temporary agency. She worked as a public relations liaison for South Pacific Fisheries in the Marshall Islands and later became a working partner in a successful travel agency, Inflight. In 1986, Kate worked closely with Jack Canfield as Marketing and Training Director and was a part of the team that developed Chicken Soup for the Soul for publication. Kate’s first career success was as an actress on stage and screen. 1994 she started her own company, Driesen Communication.
