Michael E. Goldberg


Michael Goldberg’s programs are responsible for hundreds of thousands of dollars of increased revenues, retention, and employment opportunities. Described as a “spark plug” by clients, Michael is a master at invigorating and engaging audiences with his “knock-out” style and approaches to generating sales. Through seminar and keynote presentations, Michael helps financial advisors, brokers, wholesalers, and other sales producers learn and apply “real world” information about networking and referral marketing. He works with clients  that include John Hancock Investments, Morgan Stanley, Merrill Lynch, MetLife, Mass Mutual, NY Life, Penn Mutual, Securian Financial, Chubb & Son, Jackson National, Guardian Life, Prudential, and AXA Advisors.

Michael is one of about 7 percent of speakers worldwide to have earned the Certified Speaking Professional (CSP) designation awarded by the National Speakers Association and International Federation for Professional Speakers. Michael speaks at conferences and associations, agency kick-offs, runs sales meetings, and delivers “results driven” programs on networking, referrals, recruiting, and sales presentations.

Michael has regular columns in The Huffington Post, Producers Web, Life Health Pro, and Producer’s E- Source, as well as a blog that reaches thousands of subscribers. Michael has contributed to the Wall Street Journal, Harvard Business Review, GAMA International Journal, and Horsesmouth. Working almost exclusively in the financial services industry, Michael has been a speaker at LAMP, NAHU, NAIFA, MDRT, and TEDx.

His book Knock-Out Networking! is currently in its third printing.

Aside from a busy speaking schedule, Michael is an award winning adjunct professor at Rutgers University and frequently volunteers as a speaker at organizations focused on job search.
