Frank’s hands-on experience is unmatched. He began his career with GE Appliances as a Purchasing Research Analyst. He helped consolidate many multi-million-dollar commodities resulting in significant savings. As Manager of Purchasing for GE Information Services, Frank consolidated their fragmented purchases and negotiated computer hardware and software agreements. As Program Manager, International Purchasing at GE Corporate Sourcing, Frank assisted in selling the F-18A fighter aircraft to the Canadian Government. As Manager, Capital Equipment and Tooling, he developed a methodology for consolidating GE’s requirements for large machine tools.

Frank is quoted in the tenth edition of Purchasing and Materials Management. The eighth edition of Purchasing Principles and Application references several negotiation models developed by Frank. He also wrote two chapters of the sixth edition of The Purchasing Handbook, (“Supplier Price and Cost Analysis” and “Purchase of Raw Materials and Commodities”).
