Susan I. Scott, C.P.M conducts dozens of different courses in the areas of procurement, supply chain management, and contracting.

Previously she worked for several international companies in the medical and footwear industries where she held positions of buyer-planner through purchasing manager. As corporate Purchasing Manager with Genzyme Surgical Products, Susan was involved in MRPII implementation, ISO 9000 certification, and production re-locations. As Corporate Buyer for Stride Rite Corporation and New Balance Athletic Shoe Co., she was responsible for worldwide sourcing of raw materials, supplier evaluation, cost containment and material support for domestic and offshore factories. Susan contributed to hundreds of thousands of dollars annually in cost savings through value analysis, supplier partnerships, and supply chain re-engineering.

Susan has held committee chair positions in the National Association of Purchasing Management (NAPM) and has written articles on global economics and global procurement for publication in NAPM’s Purchasing Today.
